Does it help at all to request different OpenGL context versions? Does --glversion 4.5compatibility work better?
Seems to have worked for me, fps counter still acting weird though. Used to skip from 125 to 90 and was noticeable, now it skips from 125 to 124 and sometimes into the 110's, game runs smooth now and doesn't seem noticeable anymore.

Nevermind, still skips below 100 into the 90s, maybe a bit better without it, but still really noticeable on my 180hz monitor.
