Make the max dab speed higher, it would look alot cooler if you railed a berm with your foot next to the fender.

If collision issue is fixed for now, what will be your next job JLV ?
I hope 'settings saves & restore', but some points on mutliplayer gameplay could help a lot too : blue flag issues (not really 'sim'), black flag shown counter may be usefull too for cuting or other points like colliding while lapped.
I was thinking to change multiplayer gameplay by entering next race as warmup mode for everybody to recon track path, like reality we need to recon track and set settings before race...

I'm going to make some editor updates soon. But mostly I want to stabilize it for the next official version.

Dont know if you know, but it seems like the wheel-wheel launching has increased. I've had it happen 3 times in 3 days. I can send a demo (i might have 2, 1 for sure) if you'd like to analyze.

Damn. I was hoping reseting the velocity fixed that. I would like to see the demos.

Seems to me it is now a leg thing. Like Jones kicks me, and I am litterally booted from the stadium :/

Re: 2010-11-17 snapshot
I don't know. I suspect the velocity is getting set incorrectly somewhere. Probably something to do with when it derives the velocity from the position packets while losing packets. I'm going to have to make it log more info and see if I can find the error.

Can you explain what you want to do on editor ? I have some ideas ... ;p And It's not stable ?jlv wrote:I'm going to make some editor updates soon. But mostly I want to stabilize it for the next official version.
For the velocity reset, your first try was not bad, (if I remember V=(V*0.85-5), maybe it just was too much, did you try to remove the -5 ?
+ A bug fix to avoid people complaining for lag should be don't allow multiple clicks on 'connect to server' on stat site (disable button after click for 1 or 2 seconds). Since site update, I saw many people logging multiple time and say 'wtf this track lag !'
