Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but is there any way that you save the setup thats in game into this? Im tired of copying everything down when a new one comes out. Thats why i dont use it. It messes up my settings when i get it so i need to find what i had before. So is there a way that i can save my current setup without having to get this app? So when i do get it, i can transfer it to the app easily.

Thats correct. When i get a good setup, but its made in the game, not with your app, then i axendently switch it, its lost. So i was wondering if there is a way to save the setups in game to your app. Does that make more sence?

You just go to Edit Setup and click Grab Setup from Config File.Then you have the setup you were using in the game,and you can save it and edit it in anyway you want.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

since you run windows 7, I suggest you try running the application in administrator mode.
go to the installation folder, right-click the exe and click run as administrator.

I was afraid something like this would happen if I saved the setups in the installation folder, since vista/7 has very annoying securities in place on the program files folders etc.
I'll release an update soon which relocates the setups to the personal folder, either it's own personal folder or the MXS personal folder. I also think i found a good replacement for the access database, since people have problems with that too.

reason for these problems are the fact that on the pc's I tested they didn't occur :P was hoping for a relatively bug free release but i guess that didn't go as planned. and I hardly have any experience releasing something to a public this large.

anyway, 3.1 will be comming around soon, don't know when though :) when i have time I will implement the changes.

3.1 is up for download

The updated version 3.1 fixes a number of issues.

• Moved database to a better spot to increase availability and reduce permission issues.
• Using a new database that is smaller and increases performance slightly.
• Fixed an issue that caused the app to not properly edit values after editing a setup.(try editing, then closing and opening the app, if the value reverted back to the old then you should download this update)
• Changed column name "steering strenght" to "steering strength", trying to load an exported xml file from 3.1 into 3.0 will result in the steering strenght being blank. from 3.0 to 3.1 a conversion has been implemented in the application so it should work correctly.

Hey, I've downloaded the latest version, and have done everything you have said to do, and when I open the setup application it says "this program had stopped working, windows is trying to find the solution" and it doesn't open. I downloaded the 3.5 sp2 thing and installed both x86 and x64 versions. Can you help me?

it's under programs and features, but why does it say that?

are you using windows xp?

when you go to configuration screen programs( and features) and look for Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU. if you find anything like that, maybe an older version, try removing that first and then reinstalling it.

I'm sorry guys for all these troubles I really thought I had fixed the problems, starting to hate microsoft for making every pc unique with 700 different things needed to make something work.

I mean it works on my parents ancient pc with XP, which is basically empty except for some documents, i only installed .net 3.5 and the sql compact server and it works..
