No worries, I'm happy someone actually mentioned my track. There isn't any pictures in the screen shot thread or anything :(

Your track is a lot of fun, and like Checkers said is very polished, and I love the environment. Though personally its a bit too large in scale for me, and since I'm a keyboard player and a total goon I have a hard time with the high speeds, the track is very good and I do ride it as often as the other tracks in the comp.

i enjoyed a lot green valley, it´s just awesome, from the enviro, ruts, flow, lines, disp map to models, textures, etc.
my only problem is the dirt/dust, for me it´s ugly, it makes me feel bad for the whole track, for sure it´s my 1st place. :)

dj/checkers.
where are the cypress hollows ruts? :(
the disp map it´s pretty nice, liked it a lot, rough, rideable and it has flow, but the berms/ ruts is what i dont like at all.
the ontrack textures where good, liked them and bended pretty nice, i didnt liked a lot the jump ruts decals, they should have had more fading on the begining and go along all the jump, they are ok tho :)
the offtrack.., there where giant plants and i dont like at all the grass, felt it a little bit plain and boring, but is ok.
i dont know, does Millville is a sand track?
i didnt liked the traction, felt it way too slippery, i hate any sand tracks so if it waas sand is not your fault haha.
overall i think that this track is my 2nd place :)

and i havent had enough time to really choose my 3rd so it will be on hold for the moment.

Don't the most realistic track supposed to be the winner? I mean, it's supposed to be a simulation game and closer the track is to reality, better it is?

then Sorketorp would be the best freakin track for mxs, but for me, it´s unrideable (the enduro).
so how would i choose the best track if i cant enjoy it?
talking of course, visually and the fun factor.

the realism is in it too, i hate tracks with huuuge jumps and oversised stuff but that goes into everyone.

I don't think it used anything from the shadertest track. jlv fixed the problem people were having with it online, it's still happening to you?

So, I wanna get this voting going. Should I just ask which people to rank their top three tracks for each category, with the categories being the Ride factor and the Look Factor. The Ride factor will account for 66% of the final score, and the Look factor will account for 33%. #1 gets 3 points, #2 gets 2 points, and #3 gets 1 point. How does that sound?

This way probably won't allow the tracks to be properly ranked overall. I could let everyone rank the tracks from 1-9 in each category, and score them with AMA points (25, 22, 20 etc...). What yall think?

I wouldn't weigh ride/look. Have them even if you do that. Honestly, to make it way easier for you to count, just do a simple 1-9, or 1-3 to save time. After 3rd, it really doesn't matter anyway, personally.

No matter what you do, each track deserves a rating - whether it's as a whole or as each category.

Thanks for the Millville comments, it is a sand track, though not deep sand, it's a packed sand. That's also the reason for the berms inthe corners rather than ruts, because it's sand they berm up.

You can't really split the voting up into categories at this point because that wasn't specified before the contest started.

I'd rate each track on a 10 point scale, 0 being the worst and 10 being the best. Make this clear to all the voters so there is no confusion.

If you have people only vote for their personal top 3, then you are disrespecting the rest of the track makers who didn't make top 3. Everyone deserves a vote of some sort.

Since when have tracks not been judged on their looks though? Its assumed nowadays that people are going to put a bit of effort into how a track looks

Im having a bit of a problem with Hillbrook, whenever I go online on this track it disconnects me and says that my file has been altered from the version online. If I view the playback it puts all of the bikes on top of each other and is actually kinda freaky. I am (shot in the dark on spelling) technologically inept and wouldnt even know how to alter it. Is there any way for me to fix this besides downloading all 388 mb again?
