btw mx-josh. if you are using vista/7,
3.5 is installed by default at the installation of windows, it's on by default. I think thats what the setup meant, you can switch it on or off.

ok, just figured out something else. .NET framework 4.0 has to be installed even though i didn't use 4.0 to create the application. :S another Microsoft fail i guess.

Ím also using Vista, but, it says when i click on download : Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.. So idk what to do.

This new one doesn't work for me . Anyway i can get the 3.0 version because that one worked.
I dont know what you mean by this "if you are using 64 bit you will need to install both x86 and x64." because there is only the setup in my folder and it just installs. I have windows 7 64 bit. It wont open i have tried running it as administrator.

ok maybe i should have made this clearer.
the exe in the folder is just a package, it doesn't install the program. it contains 2 installation files, you need to go to the place you extracted the package and install the right files.

yeah im not getting this sorry.
Ive extracted the the download file
and then that file has only got one file in it, MXS Bike Setup Application 3.1 Setup
ive installed that and i try run it and it says that the application has stoped working even before i see anything
what is going on???

if the application crashes at startup you most likely need to install SqlServerCe SP2, the install package is included in the installation folder.
first uninstall any versions of "Microsoft SQL Server Compact" that may be installed.
Unpack "SSCEruntime-ENU.exe" to any location, then open that location and if you are using 32bit operating system install the x86 version, if you are using 64 bit you will need to install both x86 and x64.
the correct version of the .net 4.0 framework can be downloaded here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

ive got the net 4.0 and have tried it several times??
