download? you shouldn't have to download anything.

and you can go to System on the Control panel to check what operating system you are running.

If it doesn't allow you to install the x64 (64-bit) version then you probably don't have a 64 bit operating system.
Remember, it is the operating system that counts not whether you PC supports 64 bit.

and posting that doesn't help me in helping you.

all information i have from you is that you "believe" you have a 64-bit operating system and you needed to download something, which is not needed with the installations that come with the MXS bike setup application installation.

read through the first post. This app WILL work if you have everything that is mentioned there installed.
Otherwise I ask you to wait for my next application that will not require any of these installations.

there is a help menu in the app.

When the click on "new setup..." you will get a screen (the setup editor).
at the top left there is a menu called "Editor help". You can find help on how to use the app and what all the values mean and what they do to your bike.

I have downloaded this thing like 5 times to make sure I am doing it right. There is no other file in the folder other than the setup for the application. I don't know what to do.

It's in the installation folder.. so just install it and then go to where you installed the app, and it will be there.

yeah. i should have just added the file to the rar instead of in the installation. it was a while ago and I was still figuring out how I should create the installation file.

Which version of Windows? XP, Vista or 7?
sounds like windows 7 with it's amazing ability to be vague about errors.

do you have a 64 bit operating system? if so, have you installed both versions of SQL Compact?
and when you check in control panel> programs and features. and check the installed windows components does it show the .NET framework 4.0.

SQL Compact is in the package you unpacked. it contained 2 installation files one with x86 and one with x64. did you install them both?

Unpack "SSCEruntime-ENU.exe" to any location, then open that location and if you are using 32bit operating system install the x86 version, if you are using 64 bit you will need to install both x86 and x64.
the correct version of the .net 4.0 framework can be downloaded here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
the "SSCEruntime-ENU.exe" file is where you installed the app. you unpack that (double click it and it wil walk you through. unpack it to a location you can find. then go to where you unpacked it and install both .exe files.
