This is gonna be a weird question but can someone or jlv please give me a link other than the original post to the snapshot?

I started using firefox last week and now when I click on most links on the forums it just opens me straight up to google. I did try going back on google chrome to try it and it seems to have affected google chrome as well so as it stands I have no way to download new snapshots or updates. If you know how to fix this I would love to know as well.

It wasn't the browser. I had an overzealous .htaccess rule blocking someone that also matched your IP. It should be fixed now.

Whats the toggle stuff for and what does it do?

it just toggles the display of fps, ping or time on the screen.
before you had to add arguments to the executable to be able to see them. now you can just type the toggle command in the "chat".

you have to place it in your install folder and take out out the old one.

Yes unless jlv took something out of the game most of the time they're adding something new into the game.
