Auto Shift

i use both depending on the track. I prefer shifting with the keyboard though.

This thread inspired me to try manual shifting yesterday.

I like it. I definately can jump further when I want to (so I assume I'm going faster). It also allows me to have a little more control and consistancy on jumps - I was not only jumping futher but having an easier time NOT overjumping certain jumps.

I also think it helps to take a lot of the twitchiness out of the RMZ I ride - keeping it in second thru corners keeps me from fighting the slide or wheelie (or the dreaded slide THEN wheelie) on the exit of the corner. It also encouraged me to try railing corners - just put the bike in 3rd and go as fast as possible aroudn the outside, rather then squaring every corner up like I usually do.

So all in all I really liked it, although there were defiantely times when shifting was just plain doing more stuff then I could handle at a time. It was also harder on new (to me) or rutted tracks.

Oh my God. I hate that. Or, if you wash out in a turn so you get anxious to get back up and catch up so you pop the clutch, slide, then wheelie, then loop out, then fall, then you get so mad because you just lost yourself the race.

I just needed to vent my feelings of the dreaded slide THEN wheelie. Sorry

I also hate when you are sliding around a corner (like the ones on Budds Creek) and you just happen to catch an edge and flip, but other times you are perfectly find and can ride it out. I never know if I'm ever going to make it or not, just pin it and pray...

yeah but i'd rather not get photoshop illegally (torrents or anything else free) I would rather pay for what I want.

have you not seen the $100 dollar photoshop called ps elements 6? im sure if you wanted photoshop you could find $100 dollars for that
