I'm having a hard time riding and watching the graph. Would be more awesome if we could have the game output these things and review them later. This still works surprisingly well for being so tricky to read and ride. Maybe I just suck. Nice job JLV.
I thought the same thing. It works during demo playback.
Now about that time ahead on the pit board thing....

A month ago this was the best MX game I ever played and I had so much fun playing it then this new snapshot came out and I cant do a lap on my favorite track without wanting to throw my controller though a wall then throw my head through the wall.

Maybe you should change your suspension settings considering your old settings won't work the same on the new suspension.GDubs18 wrote:A month ago this was the best MX game I ever played and I had so much fun playing it then this new snapshot came out and I cant do a lap on my favorite track without wanting to throw my controller though a wall then throw my head through the wall.
Just a thought.

When you have auto dab on it will automatically hit the brakes when you're stopped. With the brakes on the suspension be held up a little.vmaki wrote:Thanks jlv! The graph is cool!
I have a couple questions.
When does the bike experience "correct" sag? A is when coming to a halt after riding around on a flat surface and B is after using the reset button in time trial. Why the bike doesn't allways settle in to the same neutral position? I don't ride motocross so I don't really know if this is normal or not. I'm just curious!
Also at C could we have a nice colored section showing 35-45% of travel? Or a running value of current wheel position?
Not sure what happened at "C". Looks like something was making the wheel jitter.

Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot
I'm getting huge amounts of Z-fighting with the recent snapshots for some reason. Any idea what might cause that?

Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot
I'll try to post some visuals of what I think people are experiencing and dislike. I don't really get "random" feet off falls, but they do occur more often if you case or over-jump something than they used to. Now, I honestly think the previous versions let you get away with way more than what is realistic. And people hate that, but personally, I'm fine with it as long as it's not happening in bogus places. I've tried to get it to happen in the whoops like some people have mentioned, but I can't. The best way to get this dialed in is have people post pictures/videos the incidents so we can see if it's bogus or not.
Here's where I've only noticed a difference from the previous snaps, as far as fall offs go. When the suspension bottoms really hard and the frame smacks the ground. But to me, that makes sense. This wasn't a very big jump as far as the game goes, but it was a triple that I cased in probably the worst way. Here's the point where the feet come off.

But what's probably irritating people is that casing something like that will give you a feet off crash now, yet you can case the same exact jump like this and not crash. I just bounced into a front flip and rode away from this.

In the old snapshots, I would've been fine casing this but the new snapshot gives you a feet off. Tough to say if this would've resulted in a crash or not in real life. Maybe the frame collision could be a little more forgiving.
Here's a GIF.

Looked like it happened on the same step where the shock bottomed out. I don't think it was from the frame hitting. Maybe try a little more high speed compression on the shock.

Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot
Right. But the point was I cased it way worse in the second photo but landed on the front wheel instead and didn't crash, even though it was way worse.
And I agree. Like I said I think the old snap was too lenient on legs off crashes.

Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot
I want to start off by saying thank you for an amazing update and the hardwork you put into the game. With that being said I assume this question is unanswerable but here we go. Is there any way/ increment that I can enter into the new high and low speed sliders to make the setup mimick the setup I had pre snapshot? If not looks ima be testing around a bit. Thanks with any help to this question and have a good one.
Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot
When the low speed is at 50 it's the same as the old version. The rising rate makes the rear suspension softer for most of the travel so you'll have to use stiffer settings to compensate.
