I think there does need to be another section added to this forum, just for racing. Any series I run will only be run here, not on any other site.

Firstly i reckon joe is doing a great favor to the community even if his website doesn't actually become the solution. I Voted no on the poll only because i think the issue needs to be addressed but a sub forum would be much much better.

Basically have a subforum that has is for racing
This is how i think it should work

As an example say we were running a new national series. Here would be the posts added.

WMSA national series - Info (locked to public)
In that we have all the info, gate picks and track info
WMSA National series Results (Locked to public)
All results posted
WMSA national series Round 1 - Discussion (public can say what ever they want)

Also have a number of topics that stay at the top which would be called
How to enter races - tutorial on sending in demos (locked)
How to get skins - tutorial for people to get skins (locked)

This would stop random and useless posts. And make is dead easy to get all info and track stuff with out sorting through a billion posts about who's going to win (which will go in the round discussion)

Also i think the entire sub-forum should need permission to post new threads (and have anything stupid just put in the discussion)

people are asking for another topic page for racing but if jlv puts a link up to joes website isnt that just a new topic area of the forum really? one click and your there and its still joined to this website and takes the load off this one.

i dont think anything should be locked that just makes more work for the admin and moderators to post and accept new posts

and also we need more rules with the teams

Hell, make a subforum, make a couple tutorial stickies, list all the teams and leaders/members, then put my paypal in there, and you all can pay me to race for you.

I just checked it out again, and I'm going to say 2 things.

1. I like the layout. I'm thinking this site needs an overhaul.
2. I will join and use it, but I still think it would be easier, and would be more successful (which is the ultimate goal in life), if it was here.
