Hm, that's weird, mine works without them in there, and Bill (hvpunk) had the same problem as you, and i think that's what fixed it for him.

Yours is: "C:\Program\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --erode 1.0
Should it not be: "C:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --erode 1.0

And if that's not the case, make sure that the name of the Mx Simulator game file (.exe) is really named "mx.exe". Because the snapshots for Mx Sim are named something like "2010-01-09-mx.exe"

Didnt work either, and its supposed to be like that, thats where its all located.
It worked before I reformatted my comp, weird

Have you tryed just taking the --erode 1.0 out, trying the game without, then re-type it in there? I'm kind of stumped also.

Runs perfect with "C:\Program\MX Simulator\mx.exe.exe"
also with "C:\Program\MX Simulator\mx.exe.exe" --editor

and editor works fine

Triple post..
Erode works if I delete the config file in my personal folder, but as soon as I change ANYTHING ingame and start the game again, erode stops working, nothing happens..Game starts like normal but erode is just off.

Are you sure that erode is off? I think with the new tile info file, and the roost density in game it's harder to tell that erode is working. If your roost density is at zero i think erode won't happen. And also, the tracks that use the tile info file, the dirt may not erode as well as say the stock tracks. Not to make you sound stupid, but it could be what's wrong.
