I get really sick of getting on here and just seeing everyone bashing people who are looking for information. The elitist attitude is really getting old - I'm sure he's very sorry that he isn't as good as you yet. I don't post much, but I've checked the forums almost every day since I bought the game 6 months ago, and the newb bashing is getting more and more frequent. Grow up people.

Anyways, a gamepad will definitely make it easier. Analog input is almost a must with a game like this. Make sure you can get XBCD to work first, and then go out and buy a XBOX 360 wired controller. If you can't get the XBCD drivers to work properly, the Gamestop branded 360 controller has decent stock drivers.

im glad theres some mature people left on this forum

in regards to your question coggins144 you just need to practice more and get a good controller i use a USB XBOX 360 controller and i love it.. also work on easy tracks with stability around 80 and work your way down to around 30 then move to hard tracks and keep repeating these steps
and make sure you have brakes on anti lock and automatic shifting its easier to concentrate on staying up right in corners when you dont have to worry about locking up the breaks or down/up shifting

I can see why people get sick of these posts - there are at least 4 of them a week. It's pretty typical n00b behavior unfortunately.

At the same time, it dosen't really behoooooooooooove this community or JLV to n00b bash.

With the forum expansion I would have liked to have seen a noob section.
