Community open practice!

Post by iceman967 »

hey guys I was watching the new team yamaha video you guys posted on youtube and an idea popped into my head. What do you (the community) think about having an open practice at either hollister hills test track or the new farm ax track? I mean supercross season is almost into full effect with the USA pros or we could do a nationals track seeing as how we are abt to start our nationals season.... and seeing as how in real life to get practice you go to tracks and ride with others...

Stocksy 129 has offered to splice this for us. So by sunday or monday I will put up a deadline for demos and just pm them to stocksy so he can do work.

-RULES
-no more than 15 mins per rider per moto.
-Can submit up to 3 motos at the most per rider ( do atleast one moto of hard laps just to get a sick movie going)
-No dirty riding! (haha)
-have fun!
-open track, jump whatever and make some combos!!!

Thanks to anyone have voted and has replied to the topic with different ideas!

Since Hollister Hills is in the lead, I dressed it up for a formal open practice. This will be pending depending on where the votes go. I set the poll up for 7 days and when that makes a final tally then I will release the track and when the demos are due.

I got a better idea. How about you set the time limit to say, 15 minutes, and then just ride as much as you want. Cut corners, hit certain sections, whatever. And hollister hills has my vote, but why not some other options.

Hollister Hills would be great for DDMX's idea because there is no timing gates so it wont re-direct you if you crash just jumping around you know. If we were to do a racing style open practice we could use a track with timing gates but ddmx's idea of just ride for 15 would be better... ill edit it

What's this video you speak of?

(I say we should have a race where you get one demo, no retrys. I want to see how that would turn out. Then we'd see who is actually the best.)

with the new snapshot there should be the little timer on the top left of your screen... if not then search the threads for those addon things like --editor...
