The 09? >,< thats really weird..Ive got a friend whos just got a '09..and he had a '08 before that, and he said that he couldnt feel any difference..=/ He said that the '08 was a little bit stronger O,o..well, I think the '09 is european, and the '08 was from america..different pipes o,o...
Well, im pretty sure that the '09 isnt stronger than the '08..Honda even says its only the middle power thats gotten a little bit stronger, and a smoother powerband..
Well, just what I think o,o never ridden one..

That 08 is stronger because he had aftermarket pipes on it, so its kinda obvious...
The honda engineers cant be that stupid to make the 09 less powerful.

It was all stock!
Both bikes were stock..But the '08 was from Usa, and the '09 is from sweden..well, bought in sweden..And they said something about different pipes on the '08, but they were stock o,o

Well, I meant like..the '09 cant be so much stronger that you'll pass '08s easily on the straights..and honda said they improved the power in the middle rpms..so stronger there, okay..but..not on top o,o...
ANd..wow, >:< yeah im kinda arguing with myself..
And the pipes were different, but they came stock....
The american and eurpean pipes are different, i think the '08 pipes were 98db or something, since thats..what they allow in Usa, right? And the 09, which was sold in sweden is 94?
Perhaps thats got something to do with it o,o

From what ive seen on pics, it looks like the American hondas has different sizes of the holes in the pipes, so yeah, I think thats the difference.
