My performance is outstanding from this update i can run full settings no issues it seem to help the one texture model detail setting that killed me at 10.

Seems like a lot of people are getting lag when there's large amounts of text in the chat on screen. I was getting 2-3 second freezes sometimes (thought the game crashed since it completely locked up), so I switched back to the old snapshot before the heats last night. I know Pinned and Jones had the same problem.

Pinned is using a GTX560 I think, I'm using an HD5870.

Ok i test old Snapshot, same bad Performance, view weeks ago i can play with realy good graphics without lagg. Now im playing with "high fps setup" and have lagg, my CPU have 75%,80%,68% 33% on core 0, 1, 2, 3

I have a Q6600 Quad Core @ 3,4ghz

Anyone know what is the Problem?

The exe isn't an installer. You need to manually move it to your install folder.

Probably from setting the log file to commit mode. Amazing how hard it is to get the simplest things to work on Windows sometimes.

I don't know what you did, but my gameplay just turned a lot smoother. I actually got a good 5-10fps increase in stewart compound and the annoying micro stuttering that happened in under 40fps is gone.

Whatever you did, DON'T CHANGE IT!

Does it go away when you revert to the previous version?
Nevermind that, it was just the track i tried it on.

I think I'll be able to keep the new text rendering and drop the commit mode log updates. I'll post some new builds with commit mode off later tonight.

I have a ATI card and just raced in the 03 server with this new snapshot. Like others mentioned, the game freezes for about a second everytime someone logs in, dicconects, chats, requests restart, etc. Just wanted to chime in about it.

Thanks for the extra info. Based on that I'm almost certain it's from committing the log file updates to disk for every log entry.

Haven't noticed any hangups with this update- no major changes evident.

i7 2700k
2x NVIDIA 560Ti SLI'ed
16Gb RAM.

Constant 125fps. Occassional drop to 124 lol.

I've also noticed bikes get stuck together and start floating away more with this snapshot. Even though I find it extremely funny to watch its no fun when it happens during a big race.( although I'd rather this happen than have "front end lock" back!)
