Hey all,
I'm pretty new to MXSim, Ive been riding SX mostly. however on 2012 Atlanta I cannot double-triple in the rhythm section, I double in but 9 times out of 10 I cant make the triple, always come up short. Then I see guys on 125's hitting the triple all day.. the only times i have made it is when i seat bounce & pull back off the lip, but that is tough.
is there a way to get a little extra air?
SX Rhythm sections

practice my friend

Re: SX Rhythm sections
I always thought there was a "special trick to this game". I just couldn't believe how guys were hitting the tripples out of corners. It just came with time for me.Sizzles wrote:practice my friend
Progression is a bit lower in this game than most. It really is a skill.
But well worth it..
Re: SX Rhythm sections
seatbounce it. But I'm not an specialist in that either.
Try to land perfect and rev the shit out of your bike before you land. It will make you a bit quicker.

Re: SX Rhythm sections
Try leaning back and keep the throttle on
Re: SX Rhythm sections
few fixes for nose diving all the time. i had the same troubles when i started, and one of the first pieces of advice given to me was to not be dancing on the rev limiter all the time coming off of jumps. either stay a bit in the power and then goose it at the take off, or shift up right before takeoff. after practice, you learn what jumps you can be slamming the limiter on, when a gentle pull on the bars will help keep your front end up, when to shift up on take off, when to let off and goose it, when to scrub or just do a little whip...it all comes with practice and lots of crashing!
but start with letting off a little then getting back on the throttle on the face/takeoff. it moves weight back and keeps the front end up longer. start small and take it slow!

Re: SX Rhythm sections
I might be wrong but I think compared to some tracks trying to double-triple in that rhythm section is a bit harder than normal. Its much easier to learn on some of the other tracks.Lugnuts wrote:Hey all,
