list of amateur national tracks?

Post by barrington314 »

im trying to think of the tracks that hold amateur nationals every year. so far i can think of

Oak Hill
Millcreek
Branson
Gatorback(mini Os)
Ponca City
LL is obvious and already made.

it would be cool if track makers that are looking for projects started taking these ones since it sounds like we will be having legit AM nationals series every year now. Im trying to come up with millcreeks terrain data. just having some troubles getting the programs to work right now.
but can anyone think of anymore? i dont follow amateur racing very much anymore.

Why hasnt anyone made Mammoth? If I knew how to make tracks for MXS I'd give it a shot.

Motorcycle Raceways or a.k.a. "59TH & Douglas" in Oklahoma City used to host the DrPepper Night Time National back in the 80's and 90's, But it was shutdown in or around 2000. I did an Unleashed replica of the 1996 track and it turned out well. If anyone else knows what event I'm talking about they will be able to confirm it was a HUGE national event back in its day.

Mammoth - already made
World Mini, Mesquit
Oak Hill
Lake Whitney? They don't race it anymore but it would be nice
Millcreek
Gatorback(mini Os) - already made (MX)
Mini O's SX
Ponca City - made but it's terrible
LL is obvious and already made.

I think Branson would be a boring track to race on. Its built a few days before the national every year and it really doesn't entail much more then a few obstacles and an ass load of corners.
I thought there was an AM Nat in Arizona. I cant think of it off the top of my head. I thought it was at Arizona Cycle Park, but their website doesnt say anything.

To Add:
Cycle Ranch
Freestone Spring Championship (if its not the same as pros)

gatorback was nice but could do with some refinements
don't see too much wrong with that track myself but once again some refinements and you got yourself 2 very nice tracks.
