Works just fine for me. The only weird thing is that this forum is kinda slow to load pages, not sure why but when I click on a topic every once in a while it kinda feezes snd I have to stop and refresh. I have had this problem with Explorer and Chrome so IDK.

what does everyone think of windows 8 so far? I installed a beta through vmware about 5 months ago and was not very impressed. Is it worth the upgrade?

I'm loving it so far! If it weren't for Windows 8 Valve wouldn't be porting their games to Linux!

This is an interiesting topic, what im slightly worried about is if browsing files is still easy?

Is it just like windows 7 when it comes to file management? cause the whole tablet concept makes it look real hard, or is that wrong?

I'm using the Release Preview (and soon the final Windows 8 ) and it's pretty much the same as Windows 7 except for the Start menu.

haha, right on!

I've been using it for a couple months now. No problems whatsoever. As soon as you get around the interface, its no problem.
You could always use start8 menu too. Besides, its only 40 bucks.(upgrade can be used as full version :))

attacker if you want to try it out: just install it in VMWare :)
Honestly: I'm using it for a while now (on VMware) and I gotta say that I don't like it at all..

I'd say yes, it's worth it.

Quite frankly, I don't get why people are complaining so much about Windows 8 (I mean regular users). Sure, the Start button is gone but you can still access to the menu by clicking on the bottom left corner of the screen and on the bottom right corner of the screen you can access to the Start menu, settings, search, etc.

Also, I'm running Windows 8 on my 7 years old laptop (Core2 Duo, 4Go Ram, nVidia 9500m GS, Win8 ) and it's way faster than Windows 7 to boot. 30s at most with a regular hard drive, not a SSD and I have a fully fonctional laptop.

If you want a wireless controller you will need to buy the wireless USB receiver for the Xbox 360 controller.
If you want to use a wired Xbox360 controller just plug it in.
After you do either of those two, set the controller mappings under "Customize Controls" in game.
Hope that helps!
