Remapping controls to USB controller

Post by kinnackattack »

Forgive me if this is a completely retarded question, but I just can't figure out how to do it and I've looked through all the posts on here, it doesn't seem like anyone else is having the same problem. I try to use the "customize controls" option on the menu and it seems all I can do is change which key on the keyboard i'm using.

It's supposed to read USB controllers when it prompts "<<PRESS A KEY>>". Not exactly the best prompt I guess. Maybe "PRESS A KEY OR AXIS"?

Well for me it's not recognizing my controller. I've never had the problem before with any other game. BTW I use a Playstation controller to USB adapter. Any ideas?

Works with my Xbox 360 controller. Even the analog.

Yeah, I've already seen that thread. I have drivers for my controller and it works fine with every other game that I have including mva. Never had a problem with it until now.

This won't get it working, but it might help me find out what's going wrong. From a command prompt (under accessories in the start menu, or just start/run and type cmd), type this:

set JUGL_LOGFILE=log.txt
"c:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mx.exe"

Then quit the game and send me the log.txt file.
