Re: What do you think?
You'd be better off asking somewhere else.
I can't say enough good things about http://www.tomshardware.com/ ...mostly because I won my computer from one of their give-aways a couple years ago that happened to have that exact CPU
. Check our their forums, read the stickies and ask there, they are most likely a lot more knowledgeable about computers than guys into bikes, dirt and engines.
Here's the article associated with the computer I got if you want to see what that CPU is capable of: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/fx- ... ,3098.html

That all looks great except for the power supply and graphics card. I recommend getting this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130826. You cant beat it for the price. As for the PSU, I would say look for a major brand at atleast 600w (coolermaster, thermaltake, seasonic, etc). Hope this helps

That should run it just fine. Maybe not on full graphics with everyones skins, thats better then what I have an I run full gate nationals just fine. But that power supply is a bit low and card could be better for the money like pinit said.
Re: What do you think?
We have talked about PC's more than enough in this form for mot people to know we have people here who know about computers. That website as a whole knows about them but we have guys here more than capable to say what could work and what could not.
As far as what you have listed and how its listed I can see its prebuilt. For what you have listed everything works but they are keeping the price low by cutting down on the graphics card. The PSU isn't under powered its just the GPU doesn't need as much compared to others. I have that same CPU, half the RAM, and two GTX560's. One thing I would recommend is seeing if you can find a HD with a faster write speed, better GPU, and PSU. I don't think 16GB of RAM is needed either unless you plan on using them for doing 3d modeling and rendering seriously and often. With my 8GB I can render video and objects fine but if you do it alot then you will want more to speed up the process.
My suggestion is going to a prebuild website like cyberpower or ibuildpower who specialize in gaming computers and have much more reasonable prices compared to someone such as Dell or Alienware, use more mainstream parts and not the ones they make or contracted to use, and have tons of options.

How much are you looking to spend? Do you have any interest in building the computer yourself?
Re: What do you think?
I personally dont know how to build one myself but if saw this prebuilt computer that i listed above for $609 and thought it was a decent deal.

Re: What do you think?
$609 isn't a bad price for it, all the parts added up separately comes to about $560. You won't need 16gb of ram, 8gb is more then enough and $40 cheaper. I don't have any experience with windows 8, but from what I've read it has a different interface than the standard windows setup. This computer should play MX sim fine, but don't expect high framerates with modern pc games.

you can get a much better deal if you build it yourself. i didnt know how either, and i built mine just fine. its really not that hard, and newegg has a really good tutorial videos.Barely25 wrote:I personally dont know how to build one myself but if saw this prebuilt computer that i listed above for $609 and thought it was a decent deal.
