So does that work for all video sites such as vimeo, or just youtube?

Any .flv video
Re: Board updated to phpbb 3.0.5
Ah, that's cool. I would use Vimeo now, but I don't think it supports high res HD (won't be any bigger than it's normal size unlike Youtube HD). That's about the only thing I like about Youtube, they are getting carried away with the song copyrights. I'm assuming Vimeo will start with that once record companies start complaining...

Come on. I had to merge your topic with something 2 topics below yours. Open your eyes.
And reasons for the ads can be found here:

Re: Board updated to phpbb 3.0.5
Just like JLV said, quote to see how to do, take the flash part then replace url with another wich I obtain with copy link from original, i think your url is wrong.
look mine is a path and your url seem to be like a variable. (/watch?v=)
I find, just replace /watch?v= by /v/
Try that :
Code: Select all
your :
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EknlJiNJTQM[/flash][/quote]
mine :
[flash=480,360]http://www.youtube.com/v/ld6xT5yfbhw&rel=en&fs[/flash]
I find, just replace /watch?v= by /v/
