No, it's still using DirectInput.

Ah, how much work would it be to update? I'd like to use the PS4 controller but need to remap some buttons.

Actually, is there a config file or something that specifies the mapping you want to use? If I could just type out the axis/buttons I want to map that would probably work to.

Sorry, I should probably elaborate. The problem is that the standard DS4 mappings assign both an axis and a button to the triggers. So the trigger is simultaneously digital and analog at the same time. When you try to assign a trigger within MXS, it maps the button press rather than the axis.

nvm, figured out the controller inputs are mapped in the config. You can just copy and paste the line from any other positive axis you've mapped within MXS, and replace the axis number. RT is axis 3, and LT is axis 4.

Though I have to say, I don't like the analog sticks on the DS4 for this game. There's a lot less range of motion and you get less precision.
