My problem is simple the latest 1.8 snapshots and 1.9 version of mxs wont startup it just goes into an error saying:

have you tried completely unistalling mx simulator on your computer, just make a copy of your personal folder, and reinstalling it?

try opening it from the actual mx.exe in your program files folder. Maybe your shortcut has an invalid path. Assuming you have a shortcut created....

In your personal folder there is file called lastlog.txt - put the contents of that file here so we can see where it failed.

So i tried a shit load of things today
So i tried moving the whole mxsimulator folder away and create a new one that didnt work so i put the old folder back after i tried it then it started up after the second attempt after that i didnt start up any more
Completly uninstalled mxs and reinstalled it still it doesnt work

Try contacting JLV, doesnt look like anyone else on the forum can help you fix this issue

Then I suspect you may need to try get latest or more stable versions of your display adapter's drivers.

My log file continues as follows

Which leads me to believe MXS is trying to initiate OpenGL & your display at the time that it crashes.

all my drivers are up to date so that can't be it. Im so done with this shit like how can 1.8 work fine and 1.9 not i really dont get it

Could it be my graphics card that it the problem? I have a AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
