Why cant this place have a set of rules that is legit and is running all the time. you kno i got banned yesterday for a "personal attack" when DJ broke 2 rules. Am i just getting banned because im younger and dont have green around my name. well thats just wrong.
The word anarchy describes this place: a state of lawlessness and disorder (usually resulting from a failure of government)
Im not saying this place should be all political and such but look around. I thought one of the rules was no cursing. and i never see anyone get banned when they say a curse word?!
Ok rule 4-6 is just pointless. DJ isnt the greatest moderator. he curses, he personally attack Jack yesterday on the Respsect We Have No thread.
Shackattack is a great moderator. he keeps the cursing to a min. and same with DDMX ( happy birthday )
Have any of you ever looked at Mxg-hq.com!? look at there set of rules. it has many which arnt pointless ( like rule 4-6 on here ) They are always looking at post, and are being fair.
Its just a thought. Also i would like to say sorry to all quadriders on this forum and to Jack for personally attacking him.
I would like this place to have a better set of rules. and everyone to stop arguing over the dumbest stuff. Luiz im sorry your kx got tangled up and a big mess and i hope that never happens to anyone else on this forum. Its just dumb that people are such idiots on here.

To be honest I think the forums are ran very well.I don't think having more rules would do anyone any good.As for enforcing them, well I think they are enforced pretty well.The cursing is at a minimum but I think that there are times when it is done that it shouldn't diserve a ban.DJ IMO is a great moderator, as are DDMX and Shackattack.But to me it seems like DJ works his arse off on here helping everyway he can.Yeah, maybe he's broken a rule or two, but he's a mod and he's done a damn good job.How can you get mad at someone who has put in so much effort to this forum just because he brakes a rule here or there?I do agree that people argue over the most stupid things but,I see that everywhere and I'm used to it.It's best to just ignore it.Oh, and you can't expect too much intelligence and maturity from a game that's played by alot of kids.So I just think its best to just not make a big deal out of this

Well I know a lot of people feel you aren't exactly fair and you break rules yourself but you are always on top of things and you do help out a lot. I think we need moderators like yzmxer on the mxg forum and also people like DJ. We definitely need a moderator per section, DJ for off topic, ddmx for models/skins, shack for racing, and then two more for tracks and track editing and general discussion.

  No warez/piracy (linking, requesting or discussing illegally obtaining copyrighted material).
  No flaming (antagonistic, slanderous, racist, or sexist comments will not be tolerated).
  No ripping (stealing other people's work and claiming it as your own; be it signature images or game mods).
  No impersonating forum staff or other members. In other words, no making fake accounts with other people's names.
  No 'bump' posts.
  No 'spam' posts.
  Use decent spelling and grammar.
  Topic titles must be descriptive.

MXS Forum Rules:

2. No foul language.
These two pretty much cover the No flaming rule

3. Do not post or request anything illegal.
Theres the No warez/piracy rule

4. Don't piss off DJ.
5. Don't piss off ddmx.
6. Don't piss off ShackAttack12.
I'm sure these guys will take care of the No impersonating rule and JLV stated that spamming will be covered by them as well and would obviously include the bump rule.Also I'm sure these guys would take care of anyone who is doing something that seems out of order.Even if it is'nt stated in the rules.

7. No 'ripping' other users content (that includes from other games). Ask for permission first

The No pornography,grammar, and specific title rules are kind of unneeded.Anyone with even a little smarts can do a good title and use somewhat ok grammar(though there are people from other countries so I don't think its fair to ban someone due to incorrect grammar)and the pornography?Well that's just stupid.Anyone who would be idiotic enough to post that on hear would obviously get banned and the link would be removed by one of the moderators.

As I've said before, the forums are ran well and we don't need anymore rules.

I dont want this topic to turn into "Who likes DJ and who doesn't" but, I'm kind of confuzed how you can think he's a dick when he's helped like a gazillion people(templates,advice,good answers,etc,awesome skins,etc.)I don't think this game would be nearly as good without him because i'm sure some of the great skinners,track makers and even model makers perhaps have read his tutorials he took the time to put up.Ahh,it just confuzes me how you can not like someone who helps so much As for rules applying for some and not others.That goes on everywhere.Life isn't fair..Deal with it
