mx sim super lagging
i just got a new computer as a graduation gift and just downloaded mx sim but its way slower than my old desktop computer?? I dont know much about computers but its a $1200 asus that has a nvidia geforce graphics card and intel core i7 so i fugured it would load tracks and skins way faster and not lag as much when i played but its wayy worse than old hp desktop. Any ideas whats wrong??? anything helps thanks!
Re: mx sim super lagging
Make sure that vsync is turned off in the nvidia control panel. Also in the graphics window make sure it says your nvidia card not the integrated graphics.

Make sure all of your drivers are updated. Do you have a link to the exact computer you have?

vsync? Im guessing thats vertical sync so i changed that and the graphics and it seems to be working now. Just takes forever to load tracks and bikes, but i can deal with that if the games not laggySMR 510RR wrote:Make sure that vsync is turned off in the nvidia control panel. If you want instant results to reduce, change the resolution and click "Switch to Selected Mode Now" 1 level on the res lower and you bought a bunch of frames there. If you change other video settings, you'll have to restart the game. Without a discrete video card, you'll have trouble running a lot of different titles without backing off on some of the settings. You'll want to experiment to find out your best option for frame rate or beauty(pick 1). Maybe a RAM upgrade would be the cheapest start for a hardware change.

Install NVIDIA's drivers and make sure your power management setting is on high performance.

hi guys, i get FPS problems when it comes to rF nats with 40 riders and i'd like to know your opinions..
I can run 80-130 fps ( on HIGH FPS SETTINGS) with 5-10 riders but it drops to 30-50 with 40 riders.. 50 fps is fine but on some parts of the tracks it drops to 30 and i can feel it because it isnt as smooth as it should be !
THe reason why I am writing here is because i've heard of people running the game with higher graphics and getting better FPS than me with a similar laptop and i'd like to know if there is something wrong with my laptop (video card drivers are up to date) .. here are my specs:
Asus B53S-XH51 Notebook specs

If my laptop isnt good enough for Mxs with 40 riders, is there something i can upgrade? Otherwise i plan of buying new one this fall !

I would fiddle with the advanced graphics settings before making any purchases.RXR_Banjo wrote:hi guys, i get FPS problems when it comes to rF nats with 40 riders and i'd like to know your opinions..

Specifically, try lowering model detail and texture detail sliders prettysignificantly. Those seem to have the most impact on performance and you don't sacrifice much quality by dropping them a few notches.
Re: mx sim super lagging
Thx for the help, but i've already tried lowering those... what i do is that I try HIGH FPS SETTINGS for moto 1.. but fps are always 2 low so i slide them down to 2-3 instead of 5-6 + 64x64 instead of 128 x 128 ! It doesnt change much but the track looks so bad cant even see the ruts lol
