Thrustmaster Freestyler Bike Controller

Post by TM_Infidel »

Anyone tried this with MXS? (rare as Hen's teeth as they don't make em anymore but found one on ebay over in the UK recently after months of searching and snapped it up)

Looks like you'll be telling us how it is! You need a button to sit on for "sit/dab".

Going to get sketch when you try to work the bike and take out your monitor with it.

The biggest problem i see with this is the whole "steer back to center" bit the game has. I imagine turns would have to be a twist of the bars then back to center, and jerk the other way to come back up.

Well, that and the whole counter steering thing. Unless you've got a bike apparatus like those arcade games where it leans left and right, it's going to feel super goony and unnatural when you're turning the bars to lean a rider (and even more so when you're doing whatever you do for leaning forward and back).

Even on a lightweight setup you'd want/need centering springs with some damping.
