Next is 1.10, not 2.0. JLV is still finishing things up. Rather have a completed update in March than a half assed on a week ago

I think you should ask more nicely like this polite young gentleman...http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=33155
Actually here's a real answer...
jlv wrote:1.10 will be some fairly minor changes I wanted before SX. (Failed that deadline obviously.) Basically, smaller demo files and better collisions. The demos are working but still have some loose ends that need fixing. The improved collisions aren't done yet.

The big graphical changes will be in 1.11 which still needs a lot of work.

Yes, that escalated into an actual helpful answer. Thanks for noticing!

It really did escalate quickly. In just a matter of months people got infected with "Impatient demanding kid syndrome". Once upon a time there was a time called helpful feedback and input they said, you'll never see that era again they said... :(

I've seen impatient, demanding kids in here since 2009. There was only around 1200 uids then. Now it's around 20,000.

True, but it escalated quickly, since a few months back. #nextupdatesyndrome

Higher resolution for ground textures. New engine sounds. I'm currently working on tear offs and there will also be an option for squeaky brakes if people like to feel like they're riding a crap bike. You guys have to wait and see what the main gift in this update though. (It's not new stock tracks)

Can we stop making new topics about when the next update is coming out and just look at the older topics?

It depends if we want it to continue escalating. Personally I'd like to see them stop.

That will just encourage them to do more.
