To face demands, I extended the TS server to allow more connections. Now it accepts people racing :
- EMF qualifying/races
- PMS qualifying/races
- ASX/SXoN qualifying/races

These new channels are under the same rules than others. Now you can talk while racing championships

I'm not to sure on how to use teamspeak, but I downloaded it for my mac and I have the server but everytime I try and connect to an elsinore server it said channel maxfamily reached. Can anyone help me out and tell me what I am doing wrong?

Not sure what's happening for you, I just tried again 5 mins ago and it works

Do I have to be in game in the server before I join the teamspeak channel or I don't even have to have the game open and I should still be able to join the teamspeak?

No you don't, it's a simple TeamSpeak with only a bot that kick bad people. Could you print a screenshot of the error please ?
