Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
I've posted a couple of my fastest times with this snap in supercross. Just takes some getting used to. Thanks JLV!
Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
One thing I noticed when playing skymadness was that when going up a "wall" like the one on the picture, the rider falls off immediately. Unless ONLY your rear wheel touches and NOT anything from the engine or the front wheel. So you can still make it, but as soon as you wouldn't gotten up in previous updates, you fall off direct instead of bounce back or just come to a stop. Not that skymadness is a priority, but it was really clear what the changes made on that track.
(they don't need to be this high, still same result)

Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
Can someone please post a setup that works i can't figure one out
Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
I really suck at terminology, even so in Swedish... High/low speed compression/rebound ramping. High speed -> Fast stroke on the suspension while the Low speed is maybe more like waves (?) and the high is for breakingbumps and whoops? Is that a way to put it ?

At least in real life the following is true:Wahlamt wrote:I really suck at terminology, even so in Swedish... High/low speed compression/rebound ramping. - High and low speed refer to the velocity of the suspension (not the speed of the bike)
- High speed would be considered square edge hits
- Low speed would be rolling terrain, ramped jump faces, sand rollers

tyskorn wrote:On the next update can you please increase the speed for adjusting the setup? And maybe even get rid of the feature in single player? I am actually having a hard time coming to a complete stop to adjust my suspension. I get up from a fall and wait until it looks like I'm stopped completely and still get the message that the settings will not be applied.
this really is a needed fix.... the only thing that helps me.. i hold the brakes before i hit esc, so im sitting prefectly still.

With this new snapshot if I case a double on a supercross track (not frame it, literally clip my back tire) I get legs off. Ok wat...

I try to explain it as: Low speed refers to how much dive you get when braking or gassing, kinda like sway bars in a car. High speed would be for hits, landings and braking bumps etc. Never had the adjusters.checkerz wrote: - High and low speed refer to the velocity of the suspension (not the speed of the bike)

Can't seem to get my setups to feel decent with this. I feel like the suspension and physics should be getting more simple and easier to use, rather than more and more complicated.

Yea for some reason I am jumping off the bike now when I wouldn't have been close before.Ddavis wrote:With this new snapshot if I case a double on a supercross track (not frame it, literally clip my back tire) I get legs off. Ok wat...

Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
i feel that JLV needs to make an "MX Simulator Suspension for dummies" tutorial with detailed and simplified definitions. Maybe even something that could pop up beside the cursor in game giving you a short definition of what the selected item does and when to change it. with all these new suspension changes im absolutely clueless.
Re: 2015-09-21 snapshot
It feels great once you have it figured out but as said these legs off are crazy
