xbox one controller triggers wont work

I finally had time to installed windows 10 and then I went into the game but now the triggers wont work on my Xbox controller every other button on the controller works though, when I try to customize controls it doesn't pick the triggers up what so ever unless I unplug my controller and then put it back in the USB port and than it picks up the right trigger but then the throttle is stuck wide on. could someone please send steps or something to fix this problem? would be much appreciated.

okay so the xbone controller is a little weird. The stationary triggers are the positive ones so thats why your throttle is stuck. To get them to work you have to press the trigger and click the input slot really fast and repeatedly unit you get xbox one controller.... (negative) but it can be frustrating when you get it but you click again to assign so you have to watch it like a hawk. Its a pain in the ass but thats the only way i could get it to work. Hope that helped you out.

Mine did this as well. My problem was I had used a 360 controller previously, and the drivers for it conflicted the Xbox one controller's. Uninstalling the 360 drivers fixed the issue.
