Which GPU?

Post by fredmx13 »

Was wondering what GPUs would be able to handle a full 40 riders on nats and have most peoples skins and still be able to run sim on max settings 125fps?

That doesn't work, I've tried ;) But a 980ti can handle it very well.

Do you run out of memory or does the fps just dip?

I ran maxed out 10/100 1024x1024 shaders/direct on some track, think I accidentally opened a budds creek demo or something. It used like 6.1GB memory (is what the game said). But it depends on, stock server, no problem. Depends on the track and how many skins and stuff you can see. Can try more after the weekend and see.

MIT is at work on this in it's advanced computer lab. They have filed a request for another massive parallel-computing system to help speed up the process of finding a solution to your issue. I've heard the funding might be pulled since they haven't made any tangible progress. Maybe there's a possibility you can try reducing some of your settings until aliens deliver a system capable of such gargantuan feats.
