deadzone on a saitek gamepad?

Post by knapp21 »

is it different then setting the deadzone on an xbox360 controller? i bought a saitek cyborg v.3 controller and it is a ps2/ps3/pc controller and I've been messing with the config file but I can't seem to get the deadzone right. I followed the directions carefully in the "deadzone for xbox 360 controller" thread but it just won't work. I've always played this game with it leaning to one way and i just cant take it anymore! any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to change dead centre? If so you could configure it in control panel -> device manager -> controllers....

Make sure you get the +/- signs correct. Like if it goes from (0.000,1.000), then use (0.100,1.000), but if it is this (0.000,-1.000), make sure it looks like this (-0.100,-1.000) with the negative sign in your adjustment.
