How to preform a wheele?

Post by Botzon »

Hey,
i'm new at this game, just playing the demo for couple of weeks and it looks realy good.
i managed to preform some little whips and take curves right but i didn't understand how to preform a wheele.
i would like to see a tutorial or something like that which shows the thecnique how to do it.
thanks!
Alon.

theres nothing really special that you do

sometimes if you get squirly out of a turn or something and shift up it will pull it up

but other than that its just luck

i get wheelie many times when leaving corners, i hate that...and i get wheelie at downhills. those ruin my riding, i have to stop pushing gas and that way i loose speed

On tarmac wheelying is quite easy, just pop the clutch a little bit. On dirt, stop the bike, put in 2nd or 3rd gear, release the sit/dap button, rpms to the limiter, release the clutch. If you release the clutch too early after releasing the dap button it won't wheelie.

Not sure if the demo version can view the mxdemo files, but here goes. There's a few shitty tries in the beginning, in the end one pretty decent. The demo lasts a minute or so, so it's not a long wait. After you get the front wheel up, it's then pretty much about luck and pumping the gas in correct rhythm.

Ps. I could do a youtube video or something, but my computers memorysticks are fucked up and it crashes constantly. Luckily there's warranty left so I should get new ones sometime next week.

i use keyboard too, and now i cant see wheelie as a problem anymore. its quite good feeling when you leave the corner and the rear tyre is sliding at its own lines and the front is getting pulled into air

I find it odd that wheelies are more easier to perform when your standing up. Shouldnt it be the opposite? In corners if your sitting, the bike is more stable than standing. Standing should actually be more stable, but harder to turn, while sitting should be less stable, and easier to turn.
