The Death of 03

Post by supercross711 »

Not very active on here anymore but I was curious if I was the only one that noticed how dead 19803 is now and days? Back in the day the server would be full most nights... Are there new young people servers up where everyone plays or what?

Part of me would think that maybe it is because the majority of the tracks on there are JLV supercross tracks (the last time I checked) which aren't like the new supercross tracks. Just a thought.

Yea, that server going dead compared to what it used to be is kind of a bummer. I fully believe that adding at least the 2015 tracks would breathe some life back into 03. In a perfect world, we'd have 13-16 (or just 14-16), but I'd just settle for adding 15 and leaving the rest vs leaving it as is. Since it's been asked at least 1 million times and nothing has changed, I'm not expecting the track lineup to be altered anytime soon.

I figured since the outdoor season just ended people are still on 01 for a while and will migrate to 03 before too long. Putting 2015 track rotation on 03 would help I think. Lets make it happen Captain.

I made a topic about this recently, but I do agree with you. It's a dead server, and I wholeheartedly feel that it's because of a lack of newer tracks in rotation. Hopefully JLV, or somebody can add those tracks in. Hard to prep for SX by yourself, or in these Flowtech servers that have 4-5 people in them MAYBE. Racing and learning race etiquette would probably also benefit a lot of newer/up and coming riders as well, instead of throwing them in RF qualifying servers come January.

So, JLV if you're reading this, PLEASE add 15-16 rF SX tracks in 03. That would be a tremendous help.

Thanks!

Honestly that's a great idea just 14-16 everyone loves playing those. I think that would work to make everyone join more onto 03.

I think maybe a good idea would be to update the track rotation every year. Like after 15 SX is over the track rotation becomes the full 15 SX season. I am sure JLV is quite busy though and this might be a small tweak among many that are being asked for.

Maybe he makes it have like all of the 2015 or 2016 supercross tracks in it like 01 seeing as 01 just has 2015 supercross tracks in it right now, you'll be stuck playing 2011-2014 tracks for an easy 5-7 hours depending on the restarts due to all of the tracks in the server.

Tbh 03 is the only server I play. When the 15 and 16 tracks are active there are a few more people. But still not the same as before. I remember back in 2013 when I first started playing there was always alot of people online. Another reason people might choose not to go on it is because they think it's full of goons. Which isn't true I havent seen anyone punting in atleast 4 months.

i dont wanna be rude but this game has the sickest online features for the hardcore gamers that wants to commit to some organized championships but for casual gamers that just wants to open the game for an hour and go enjoy some online racing there is so much things that would need to be changed.

I used to try to get over it and still enjoy the game but since i have less time that i used to when i have time to spend on a game im going in other games where its faster and more enjoyable

Just my 2cents , im not gonna go on and explain everything that could be changed since its pretty obvious and probably already been discussed

I only race in 03 and 01 during the respective seasons. I still have the most fun on JLV's tracks compared to the current designs.
