I noticed with this one that if you change settings and go into task manager and close the game without exiting the setting that you changed saved when before I could do that and when I started the game back up it would be the settings before I made the changes.

Its not the snapshot. I have the problem for a long time now. I can live with that but just wondering if anyone knows what could cause this problem.
This has been happening to me aswell.

That change was made in 2016-11-29 -
  • Now saves config file and quits after receiving a window close message.
You should still be able to back up your config file before you exit if you've made a change you don't want.

What's the last thing in the lastlog.txt file when it crashes?

[194:39:40.02] End of DirectInput roll call
[194:39:40.02] Choosing pixel format
[194:39:40.41] Setting pixel format 9
[194:39:40.41] Creating OpenGL context
If I close it and open it again, it works without any problem.

That's been reported before. It's crashing in the graphics driver while trying to create the GL context. I don't have much control over it.

You didn't put it in your install folder:

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. The default location for mx.exe should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator". I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.
