Yes Stickerz I know, I told them my external IP you get from that site. I used my IPv4 as the IP to forward the 19800 port. But my friends still couldn't connect. What should I try now?
Re: Mxserver Tutorial
It might not be getting through your firewall, is the only other thing I could think of, let me know what operating system you have.

Re: Mxserver Tutorial
Windows Vista 32-bit. Windows Defender is not even on at all. I have Norton 360. I went into the firewall and put the mx-11-21-2011.exe on "Allow" and the mxserver.exe on "Allow" and my friends still couldn't connect. There's still something I'm missing isn't there?
Re: Mxserver Tutorial
Did you also do it to the Windows Firewall?

Re: Mxserver Tutorial
How do you do it on the windows firewall? I have the same system ^^
Re: Mxserver Tutorial
Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall On the left side click "Allow a program or feature through windows firewall". Click add another program, in the list that comes up find MX Simulator to add it, if it isn't in the list click browse and find the mx.exe. Do the same for the mxserver. I usually select all 3 of the location types for them (Domain, Home/Work (Private), Public). Think the only one that would get used for it is the Home/Work Private one though.

What do you mean by Home/Work, Domain, Public? I browsed for mxserver and allowed the mxserver. What are the other ones?yzmxer608 wrote: I usually select all 3 of the location types for them (Domain, Home/Work (Private), Public). In the list of programs that are allowed through the firewall, those are options you can check for them.
