Short for arguments, it's what tells the server what settings to use.

There is something wrong with the trackinfo file for Possum (pretty sure that folder is named 'a').

The folder for MX488 is called 'a'.The Possum Creek trackinfo should be "possum.trackinfo"

Ah that's it, I knew it was one of those tracks. Did you delete the line from the args file too along with the trackinfo file? When you run the server, does the "press any key to continue" show up? If it does that means it pause for an error, if it isn't there the server should be running fine. Have you forwarded the port on your router for the one you are using on the server?

P.S: When you get it working change your password ;).

ok so i got the whole thin working up to the running part. I got the args file, the bat file to start the server, when i run the bat file, it stays open, so i assume that everything is done right. I unblocked mxserver.exe from my firewall, thats also good, i have ,my password set up in the args file, i also have a mx.exe startup shortcut with the --password ktm thingy. yes my password is ktm in the args file.

My problem, when i go onto the multiplayer page and set the server to 127.0.0.1 to launch MY server as admin then it just keeps saying Contacting Server WSAECONNRESET and it continues for this for ever. WHat could be wrong, help would be really apreciated. THANKS>
