This enables fog. To put fog in your track, add a line like this to your lighting file:

fog [ .75 .80 .87 ] .0003

Where "[ .75 .80 .87 ]" is the RGB fog color and ".0003" is the fog density.

Windows users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2008-05-26.exe
Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2008-05-26

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

Damn, the skybox isn't effected by it because it doesn't have a distance. Looks like we'll have to make a few skyboxes to suite

OK, once you make the colour right, it looks quite good. Here is Budds Creek with a bit of misty action. It had fog [ .45 .55 .60 ] .003

OK, once the background is lighter than whatever the foreground is, it looks amazing. Eg-

i have a problem, there are many updates, nice work but what is for us, we dont know about coding the game so how its supossed to use the fog and the rgb?

Don't worry, leave all the fog, texturing and lens flare up to us track makers. I'll make a track soon and release it with all the new features.

Well, I think JLV is going to re texture the old tracks, but I might make something so every every track has a lens flare (All stock tracks)
