anaheim 1 2009 is a good one to start with.
the sand sections are a little awkward, but the rest of the track is quite nice and pretty easy for beginners.
also the whoops are small which is nice for beginners.

In all honesty, you should ride every single one you can. Each one is unique, and tests different things, different rythms, different traction, and multiple lines. Learn to be able to blitz whoops consistantly, and getting through ruts clean. Practicing seat bumps and use of clutch along with scrubs is also good, as it will make you faster when there is multiple racers on that small track with you......

Setup your suspension stiff for sx and then just roll the new track for a lap and check the line options, where you need to hit jumps so it is most efficient, and look at the rythym sections good. Then decide the way to tackle it (3 x 2, 2 x 3, roll x 2, etc). After this it is all about bike setup and PRACTICE! I hope this helps.

I would recommend AX 1,2,3 as a easy start

Oh jesus. That track was so hard back in the day, and now when I play it I destroy my old lap times. :/
