Can I get permission to add tracks in 19805 via /sendfile?

Anxious to try some newer tracks and different styles.

I've posted a fix for the erode queue running out.

Shack noticed a nice berm forming last night. I couldn't resist making a gif of it evolving. Love the way it has a little braking bump at the entrance.

The server isn't set up for sendfile right now. I'll set it up once I'm done here.

Jlv you're a top bloke. Absolute game changer, really appreciate the hard work. Other than the added load on my old shitter of a pc, Literally every minute was a heap of fun.
On the newer tracks with a bit more traction you could push for a little longer and almost go faster for a while a few laps in, but still had to change the way you rode and really think about the track for sure. Deffs keen to see this developed further and have track creators make things work with this. Shading and lighting is a bit of an issue at times and the sand at A1 was like 4 feet or so below the stadium floor at one point but I'm sure there's going to be things/tools in place for future tracks.
Once again thanks for the continued work on this game, who would've thought it would just keep getting better all they way into 2017.

Do you have to have erode turned on for it to affect your race in 05 or is it default on now? If you do have to turn it on is 8 the general consensus as the best?

Many thanks

^^^ No you do not have to manually enable erode yourself. The value is set by a marshall or admin, I’m assuming.

Damn thanks a lot for the update, erode is so much fun online!

If its going to be a while before flowtech and mxslobby recieve the server client for us to try it out on custom tracks - is there a way we can try it out on a hamachi server?

Would be good to see how it works out on some different track/traction styles as no one really uses the old tractions anymore and there could be a big difference

Absolutely amazing JLV, I have been waiting for this since the first time we could play online instead of demos. This will get me back into mxsimulator more I hope!

The last two nights we've been experimenting with it. It really depends on the track's "erode" settings in the tilemap, the number of riders on the track, and the number of laps.

Anything above 15 is too much in my opinion. The ruts and bumps just get too jagged.

On the stock tracks with 10 laps and roughly 20 riders, an erode setting of 15 made some gnarly bumps and ruts by lap 10, but still rideable.

I think we've come to the consensus that anywhere between 8-12 is great for a 10 lap race.
