SX 250 vs SXF/FC 250f

Post by GM55 »

I started riding the SX 250 2012 2 stroke recently and have noticed that the bike seems a whole bunch faster and easier to ride then the other 250f's.
For some reason on the sxf 250 everytime that I come into a corner, or really anywhere i get down into first gear my whole back end will just wash out and i cant save it.
The 250f's also just feel heavy and hard to control. I didnt realize any of this until i started riding the 250 2 smoke.
Not sure how those fast guys are able to control those 250s so well but for some reason i literally cant even get a lap on 250f's

Anyone had any comparable experiences with the 250f's switching to a 2 stroke 250.
Maybe its just me or my setup

Well that's because the 250f's have an engine brake. The 2 strokes don't. I personally dislike 250f's because I'm just inconsistent on them. 250 2 strokes were pretty useless to me until they made them available to ride in SX this past year.

I just bounce everywhere on a 250 2t or eventually loop out. Though a 250f on slippery tracks easily wash out.

Yeah i feel like the engine brake is too much for me to ride comfortably.
I guess just takes some getting used too
