Recommended graphics settings

Hello!

I was wondering how you guys recommend having the graphics set up?
Enable ground mipmaps?
Compress textures?
Terrain rendering method?
Use shader programs?

I'd recommend the "normal" or "high detail" presets. "Compatibility" and "high fps" are for antique graphics cards and will probably be slower than "normal" on modern cards.
