Rest bike/rider for ghost racing....

Post by texastechster »

Completely confused.
The last half dozen tracks I've downloaded are starting me behind a gate. I have it configured for the key B to reset my bike anytime I push it. These latest tracks do not reset the bike.
However, when I load up any of the old sx tracks that I have on my machine, I start my time trial 100 yards behind the finish (or so) and when I hit B, I reset.

What goofy setting have I messed up??

I moved the time trial start back a gate last year.

Thank you, though I 'm not sure I understand what that is telling me?
What can I do on my end to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It sounds like you choosing new race instead of time trial. Which tracks are you having issues with specifically? Could you do a screen capture video of your process?

Maybe I didn't understand the question. I thought you were saying that you were getting reset one gate behind where you normally would have been reset to. That's because of a change made around a year ago. Did you mean something else?

Sorry if confusing.
What I'm saying is that on the new Nationals tracks (for example), I select Time Trial (just like I always do). When the game loads, I'm starting behind a gate (not in the middle of the track right before the finish like normal). Then as I go around the track, the bike will not reset back to the finish as it typically does when I push the "B" button which is what I push on all other tracks to reset the bike/rider.
