Moving Game's Directory / Personal Folder *help*

Post by ThatMxGuyThing »

Hey all, I'm sitting here pondering how I can move my Personal Folder but, Its currently on my SSD and its taking a huge amount of space.
I have had sim for quite some time and its really filled up over the years, I'm talking PF is around 140GB.

Is there a way for me to move this?

Cheers.

The personal folder is always "%localappdata%\MX Simulator". The only way you can change that is with a symlink. The install folder is whatever folder mx.exe is in. So the easy thing to do is put all your files in the install folder and move that.

Thanks JLV, I do have another small question as I'm struggling with FPS Currently.

I have a
GTX1080 Extreme edition
Intel i7 6850k
128gb DDR4 Ram Corsair Dominator Platnium
Samsung 850D SSD
MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard

The computer is water cooled.

MY game is getting massive Lag spikes, 2k vs 4k Bikes makes no difference apart from load time.

If you have any idea's or theorys. I'd be interested to hear cheers.

Do you have Nvidia's threaded optimizations enabled? That's been known to cause spikes. Try disabling it.
