"Your client is too old for this server" Help meh

So I'm just a little console idiot I have no business on computers but, I was qualifiying for the "Inter-Regions" Championship and I could connect to the Qualifying Server but when it was race time and I had to go to the race server it said " Your Client is too old for this server" and I get disconnected. Says the same thing for the " Inter-Regions Ernee" race coming up as it has one server that it wont let me connect to because of the Your Client is too old for this server stuff. a little lost would like to race the coming race Nov. 1st so please help my dumbass thanks mucho

Right so when I go to download the windows link it says "Problem Starting Mx Simulator Cant find game data" That's where I'm at now.. thanks for the video tho seems like it should work

You put it in your personal folder instead of installation

So what you fellers are saying is to instead of clicking on the link and downloading it, I should drag the link into my personal? If you don't know yet I'm a pretty smart guy

Because the video says I'm suppose to download the link but when I try to do that it pop us with the cant find the data BS

You need to put said downloaded snapshot in directory folder (Not personal folder) then remove the mx.exe fro the folder, i drag mine to my documents just in case (old habit) then change the name of the downloaded file to mx.exe

totally lost now. Where I'm at is I click on the windowns link then I approve the download, It then attempts to download then once it appears to finish downloading it opens up a small box that say I cant open Mx sim because of the game data and I can only click ok or close out of the tiny box that popped up.. I'm not downloading anything cuz it wont allow me therefore I have nothing to put into wherever you are trying to tell me to put it
