key invalid?

when ever i try and join a server it says key invalid but it says key is good in the menu

You're probably using a key that's banned.

Looks like you sorted it out based on the key server log. It is possible to have a typo and still pass the client side "This key looks good" check. It's around 1 in 1000 odds for a false positive.
