Changes:
  • Fixed buffer overflow with > 16 bones in "pose_statue".
  • Added support for redirect commands from the server.
  • Added 1st person gimbal setting for smoother camera action over rough terrain.
  • Client version is now 41.

Linux users: https://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2019-11-17-1519

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. The default location for mx.exe should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator". I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

The 3rd person camera doesn't have the same jitter problems as 1st person.

The gimbal is an excellent addition! For a casual 3rd person player 75 to 100 range feels really good. I'm guessing it's only on the pitch axis? It would be really interesting to see it on yaw and roll axis with their own respective sliders!

What is the maximum angle on the gimbal when the slider is at 100? This is a minor thing but on an enduro track when I'm going down a steep hill it feels for me as if the camera is not looking enough up towards the horizon with the slider at 100.

Im in the 25-30 range, I think you want it just to where you dont feel the chatter coming in and out of ruts and maintain all the other feedback.
