Full version on mac?
Hey when can the full version on mx simulator come on the mac i personally use the apple iMac os x i just really want the full game to come on it please make this before christmas as i want it then from my parents
Re: Full version on mac?
There definitely won't be a Mac port before Christmas. The Windows version works well under emulation so that's your best bet for the moment.

Wineskin works really well, doesn't take long to set up either. Follow Wahlmats tutorial step by step and you'll be gravy.

So do you think windows will work on my mac with wine staging?jlv wrote:There definitely won't be a Mac port before Christmas. The Windows version works well under emulation so that's your best bet for the moment.

Use wineskin as the updated 2018 guides. Wine staging stopped working after apple updated their file system. Not tried it in soon 2 years though, but I'd still do wineskin.leighton13 wrote:So do you think windows will work on my mac with wine staging?jlv wrote:There definitely won't be a Mac port before Christmas. Re: mx simulator
I can actually still run the game with Wine Staging but it only launches about 25% of the time and does something funky to the graphics. You also can't access the editor or run erode on single player. Wineskin is the way to go.leighton13 wrote:So do you think windows will work on my mac with wine staging?jlv wrote:There definitely won't be a Mac port before Christmas. Re: mx simulator
That seems odd. Does the computer you use have a HDD, SSD or SSHD? Either way, seem that wine staging never really bothered then to update to the new file system properly..nathanjames wrote:I can actually still run the game with Wine Staging but it only launches about 25% of the time and does something funky to the graphics. Re: mx simulator
Im running it on a Mac Pro (Late 2013) which has a SSD. Working perfectly with Wineskin though! Excited to learn how to make tracks finally.Wahlamt wrote:That seems odd. Re: mx simulator
I'd stick with the stable version of Wine unless there's a specific thing you need from staging.leighton13 wrote:So do you think windows will work on my mac with wine staging?jlv wrote:There definitely won't be a Mac port before Christmas.
