I recently switched to controller, and I can´t understand how people change gears right before lip while seat bouncing.
I´m using right stick for body forward/back! Are people just doing it real fast with their thumbs (from joystick to Y on xbox and then back on joystick), playing claw or what?
Please help

Re: trouble changing gear when wanting to seat bounce
I play single stick so no problem for me. Push the trigger down could be an alternative.

I mean its more like one or the other coming out of turns, in the middle of a rhythm section shift before you land.
Also just try coming into the turn a gear higher you can carry more speed that way.

I claw. So left hand is all regular play. I use separate sticks for turning and rider like MX Reflex. But for shifting in my right hand I'm clawed with my index. Shifting with index X. / Y

I always had a keyboard on the floor and shifted with my feet
