It's not an installer. It's a replacement for "c:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mx.exe". You have to copy it there manually.

Are there any tips on how to use the echo feature? Everything I try gives me out of range stuff (like insanely high pitch noises or something that obviously can't be used).

Make sure the absolute values of the amplitudes add up to less than 1. Otherwise it's going to be an amplifier and give you feedback.

I got game crashes with the new Snapshot and don`t know why at least i use Vista and as soon as i want to ride a track it quickly shows the ingame screen and then it closes the window.

Any Ideas?

Are you sure the last snapshot is the only reason ? No other softwares manipulations since last gaming session ? (drivers updates...)
Is snapshot in good place ? (MXS program folder)
Try renaming the file "mx-2010-09-22.exe" to "mx.exe" (copy or rename original if you want to keep backup), some security softwares could block new executables.
And post 'lastlog.txt' content here, you can find this file in MXS user folder.

Thx for the Quick reply bqsicly i have no idea what happened just redownloaded the snapshot and it works now

so here is the next question since i was out of country for the last 3 month i wasn`t able to follow the latest development.
Atleast how does it work with the Pipeinfo files do I write one in notepad and safe it under specific names for the bikes? And does it work in MP as well do I hear the different sounds from other players so their creation ?

I'm havin some problems with the sounds. Like on the 125's I had a sound on there and then I went to change it because I didn't like it and it will change for that race. And then after a new race it will go back to the old sound.

it does that for everyone, i believe it is because the sound isn't saved for that bike and it tries to load the sounds for each bike every race...

Just to report bug from myself, arma and some users :
- Gearing stay locked. I was thinking my controller going to rip until Arma said same thing, and other players too. Arma just gone from switching from automatic to manual gearing.
I can't remember how it's back to run fine, hitting button, esc menu (maybe this appear while entering or exiting from menu, i'm on manual gear since a lot of time).
- And this bug remember me to report another one with my brake, sometime i stay on startline because my break is locked on. I have to unlock it by pushing down my brake pedal. I don't know how much snapshots released since this bug, but a lot of them, sorry
